Hidden Places. Real Risk. Black You Wild.

Abandoned mines, back-canyon waterfalls, forgotten history and the water in between. I find the places most people never see and show you what's there.

About

Hey, I'm Black

I'm an explorer based in Southern California. Most weekends I'm chasing waterfalls, climbing into old mine country, paddling local water, or digging into the Native American and local history of the Inland Empire, usually with my son right beside me.

Every spot comes with the real story, the real conditions, and what you need to know before you go. No hype. Just the place.

I also run Wild Adventurers, outdoor days built for disabled and neurodivergent people and their families.

Adventurers

Built for disabled and neurodivergent adventurers, their families and friends. Bring the kids. Bring your wheelchair, your stroller, your headphones. Go at your own pace. Everyone's welcome.

Who we are

Outdoors for everybody

Wild Adventurers is an Inland Empire hiking and outdoor club with one focus: making the outdoors work for disabled and neurodivergent people. Autistic, ADHD, wheelchair users, people with chronic pain or limited mobility, and the families who love them.

We pick routes you can actually do, tell you exactly what to expect before you arrive, and keep the pace calm and the group welcoming. Need a quiet break, a slower walk or a different way to take part? That's normal here.

New to hiking? Good. That's who we built this for.

Why I started this

I'm on the spectrum. Outside, that's never been a problem. Nobody cares how you talk, how fast you move, or if you need a minute. But I've seen how many people never get to feel that, because trails, events and even "beginner" groups aren't built with them in mind.

So I started Wild Adventurers. I'm not an outsider looking in. I'm one of you.

Black You Wild is where I share the places. Wild Adventurers is where I bring people with me. The long-term goal is an outdoor home base where everybody gets a seat at the campfire.

Fontana Special Needs Resource Fair & Autism Walk

Wild Adventurers came out to support Fontana's autism walk and special needs resource fair. Families walked together to raise awareness, then spent the rest of the morning meeting local service providers, with food, music and games for the kids.

Help us get more people outside

Wild Adventurers keeps events free or low-cost so money is never the reason someone stays home. Your donation goes straight into the club.

What donations fund now

Our monthly Wild Adventurers events, so they stay free or low-cost:

  • Equipment, including accessibility and safety gear
  • Event insurance when a location requires it
  • Permits and parking fees for group outings
  • First aid kits for every outing
  • Activity supplies, like scavenger hunt prizes for the kids

Our long-term goal

A permanent outdoor home base. A place in Southern California built for disabled and neurodivergent adventurers and their families, with room for retreats, camping, fishing and paddling days, nature programs and hands-on outdoor education.

Right now we use borrowed spaces and one-off trips. Every donation also moves us closer to a home of our own.
